Constables keep current on the latest physical tactics and South Carolina law to maintain professional standards
Once a month, association members meet to go over each law enforcement jurisdictions needs and status of each agency. In addition, training opportunities are provided by local police departments, county sheriff offices, private law enforcement organizations and federal law enforcement members.
Whether it’s a class lesson in clandestine meth labs, domestic violence legal updates or handcuffing and baton training, our members benefit from planned training from working professionals in the law enforcement field.
TACTICAL SHOTGUN/PISTOL TRAINING
Constables who are trained and qualified in the use of shotguns are authorized with the consent of their agency/agencies to carry the shotgun on duty.
