RIVERSIDE, Ohio — An Ohio police officer was injured after his partner accidentally used his TASER on him while attempting to arrest a suspect.

The Dayton Daily News reports that the Riverside officers were responding to a domestic violence call on Thanksgiving Day when they encountered the suspect, Christopher McClinton.

McClinton refused the officers’ orders for identification. As the officers attempted to pull the combative McClinton from his vehicle to arrest him, one of the officers deployed a TASER. The prongs struck both McClinton and the other officer.

The officer who was struck suffered a head injury and was taken to a hospital for treatment, Cleveland.com reports.

McClinton faces several charges, including obstructing official business.
