Second edition of Nuclear Nonproliferation Textbook

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Brookhaven National Laboratory published the second edition of Deterring Nuclear Proliferation: The Importance of IAEA Safeguards. The textbook provides a history of the origins of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and an introduction to the ways in which IAEA verifies nation states’ nuclear nonproliferation commitments.
